Jede verrückte Idee braucht eine Chance!

Nicht jedes erdachte Automobil wurde auf die Räder gestellt, als Show Car oder sogar als Serienfahrzeug umgesetzt. Viele dieser Ideen bleiben auf dem Papier oder auf dem Computer - einige schafften es immerhin bis zum Gipsmodell. Aus welchen gründen auch immer wurden sie verworfen oder nicht umgesetzt. Waren sie ihrer Zeit voraus, entsprachen nicht der Ausrichtung einer Marke, oder waren sie ganz einfach "daneben"?

AutoCult nimmt sich dieser Ideen an, ob ernstgemeint oder mit einem "Schmunzeln" - einmal im Jahr wird eine solche Idee in unserer Rubrik "Jahresmodell" in Verbindung mit einem Jahrbuch doch noch Wirklichkeit.

Model of the Year

Each crazy model needs to get its chance!

Not each idea was realized as a Show Car or a Car at least. Many of those ideas never progressed beyond the stage of sketches or computer animations - maybe some were realized as a prototype model. Because of some reason they were never realized. Were they to far into future, did they not fit to the current philosophy of a brand or were they just "completely inapplicable"?

AutoCult takes one of these ideas each year - either serious or with a "smile" - and brings them alive as a model in the category "Model of the Year" in connection with a Book of the Year.
